Automotive
The recyclability, easy processing, weight reduction properties and soft-touch appeal of Dryflex Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs) make them an ideal material for automotive applications. A range of speciality decoration effects, available in colours according to automotive specifications and excellent adhesion to engineering thermoplastics ensure Dryflex TPE compounds deliver cost-effective innovative design solutions. What’s more, post-consumer waste grades (up to 80%) are available for use in external components such as mud flaps, enabling the automotive manufacturer to meet ELV (End of Life Vehicle) requirements.
Applications include:
Interior: stowage consoles, cup-holders, floor-well mats, grips/handles, buttons, seat adjusters, grommets, profiles, pedal covers, facia mats, air-bag covers, ignition lock surrounds and soft touch arm rests.
Exterior: mud flaps, roof rack feet, wheel arch liners, tread mats, side steps, bumpers, door seals, under floor air deflectors and stone chip protectors, petrol caps.
Under the hood: air ducts, radiator air ducts, radiator grill edges and shield seals.
