ELASTO expands technical sales team in Asia

Leading thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compounder, ELASTO, has announced the appointment of two new members to their Asian technical sales team.

Richard Chen has been appointed sales manager for China. Chen majored in chemical engineering from Shannxi University of Science and Technology. He has a strong background in thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and polymers having worked in the field for nine years.

ELASTO have also appointed Alex Li as application engineer in China. Li is a graduate of Hefei University of Technology where he qualified with a B.Sc. in polymer material technology and engineering.

Chen and Li will both be based at ELASTO’s new Foshan production facility in the Guangzhou area. The plant is currently being built with start-up planned for the second half of 2012. Chen commented, “ELASTO is a world-class supplier of TPEs with one of the widest product portfolios in the market and an emphasis on the highest quality products and support. Alex and I are looking forward to carrying this tradition forward and working in close partnerships with our customers in Asia.”
