Mediprene

An in-depth technical knowledge and regulatory understanding is needed when working with the design, development and manufacture of medical devices. This is why we have a dedicated ‘Mediprene’ team, they are highly trained and work with our medical customers to develop sophisticated, high-performance compounds for the most challenging medical applications.

Medical device manufacturers are turning to Mediprene as their material of choice because;

Mediprene is consistent
We understand the need to formulation stability and raw material consistency which is why we have a clear policy for the selection of raw materials for Mediprene compounds and formulations are never changed unless one or more of its constituents cease to exist.

“In case a Mediprene formulation has to be changed due to the termination of one or more raw materials, we will inform the customers in due time to qualify a replacement compound."

Mediprene is quality
We are accredited to ISO 13485:2003.  Representative Mediprene grades have passed USP Class VI. Continuous testing ensures our customers receive quality products with consistently predicable processing characteristics.

Mediprene is safe
Mediprene thermoplastic elastomers have proven to be strong alternatives as replacement for PVC; they are completely synthetic and latex free, thereby minimizing allergy risks.

Further details and examples of the applications our Mediprene compounds help shape can be found on the Medical page or by downloading our Mediprene Technical Guide or  Sterilization Tests Guide for comprehensive technical information.
